Argent Related – Tottenham Hale

Promoting a new centre of Tottenham Hale

Context and Objectives

Argent Related, with founding companies known for their experience in largescale city building (King’s Cross, London and Hudson Yards, New York), in 2018 secured planning consent for their Tottenham Hale development, a Strategic Development Partnership with the London Borough of Haringey. Reimagining a new centre for Tottenham Hale, across five key sites, LCA were brought on board to help promote the proposals for 1,036 new homes and a new health centre serving 30,000 local people, alongside new shops, offices and public spaces.

The LCA Role

LCA has a long-standing relationship with Argent due to our work on the redevelopment of King’s Cross. In August 2017, we were appointed to prepare and deliver a strategy for consultation working closely with the Project Director for Communications and the development team. In 2019 we were then appointed to work across the PR and placemaking brief, leading on B2B and B2C comms. LCA lead on PR and comms around residential sales, commercial tenant and leasing, as well as changing outdated perceptions of the area, reputation management, crisis communications and construction comms.

Results Delivered

LCA have successfully led on the PR and communication around the launch of the new town centre. The campaign was launched with a double page spread in The Sunday Times, secured by LCA, and reinforced by an additional 25 pieces of coverage surrounding the launch, including the Metro, Evening Standard, Wallpaper*, City AM, The Times and Daily Telegraph. LCA has gone on to secure over 50 pieces of coverage in the first 6 months of the campaign, supported through proactive and reactive media engagement, content creation and carefully curated media partnerships, as well as community and influencer management. Collectively, LCA campaigns have secured coverage with nearly 30M readership.
