Nina joined LCA in July 2023 an Associate Director in the Politics, Engagement and Planning (PEP) team, to assist the Earls Court Development Company (ECDC) to consult on their masterplan for the 40-acre site of the former Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London’s most significant regeneration site.
Nina is a community and stakeholder engagement specialist with extensive experience on some of London’s largest infrastructure projects, including HS2 and Crossrail. Before joining LCA, Nina was Head of Engagement at HS2 Euston for the construction partner, Mace Dragados, leading public engagement on the station design. On the Crossrail project she managed stakeholder and community engagement within the City of London area during the construction of Liverpool Street and Farringdon Stations and the Barbican tunnels.
Nina is also a chartered town planner and has worked with multi-disciplinary teams to develop planning applications, managing the pre-application engagement with government and heritage stakeholders on the House of Commons Northern Estate Programme. She began her career at the London Development Agency managing regeneration programmes, including projects to prepare Londoners for Olympic job opportunities. She has an MA in Planning Policy and Practice, a BA in English, and an APM project management qualification.
Nina is a fan of slow travel and has travelled on the Trans-Siberian express from Moscow to Beijing and through China by train to Guangzhou, overland from the west to the east coast of the USA, and by boat down the Amazon. Since having children, Nina travels shorter distances, faster, with a lot more luggage.
