Lucy Donaldson, Creative Director

Lucy joined LCA in January 2022 and now leads our talented Design Team – overseeing the creative output across all channels and working with clients to deliver visually impactful and meaningful work.

Before joining LCA Lucy gained seven years’ experience within the creative team at Westco Communications, working for a range of clients across the public and not-for-profit sectors. Throughout her time at Westco, Lucy led on a variety of complex design projects, including creating and managing the event branding for West End LIVE (the largest free theatre event in the world); and creating and overseeing the roll-out of the campaign identity for the Re-opening of Westminster as the city first emerged from lockdown. The campaign, which launched across Soho and the West End, won a Hermes Creative 2021 Gold Award for ‘Public Relations and Communications’ and was a finalist in the Creative Moment 2020 Awards for ‘Public Sector Campaign of the Year’.

In 2017 Lucy also spent six weeks seconded to the Grenfell Response team, working as an integral part of the Government team drafted in to manage the crisis comms in the wake of the tragedy.

Lucy is skilled in working up thought-provoking, engaging and well executed ideas for campaigns, events and brands. With a keen eye for typographic detail, she is a strong believer in the importance of knowing your hyphens from your en dashes!

When not at her desk, Lucy can usually be found balancing her time between exploring London and topping up her zen in the countryside, training (or attempting to train) for a half marathon or (more likely) sipping on a cold glass of dry rosé with friends.
