Peter joined LCA as an Account Assistant in August 2022 following six years spent as a school teacher in West London. He studied undergraduate and masters in Politics and International Relations and was awarded the Elections Centre Prize for the best student in the field of Electoral Studies; during this time he also captained the University Challenge team. After graduating, Peter conducted post-graduate research in areas including elections, candidates and democracy, simultaneously holding lecturing posts at two British universities.
Peter’s research interests have centred around the question of how and why people engage with politics. He developed experience in this area whilst undertaking research at the Elections Centre, a highly-regarded political research group. Peter is passionate about the ways in which people interact with their built environment, as individuals and communities.
At LCA, he supports the work of our Politics, Engagement and Planning team across a number of areas including new business, client tasks and political research.
Married with two young daughters, Peter is a keen yachtsman and musician. He enjoys sailing with his family at weekends and has directed a number of choirs as well as playing a range of instruments. Peter has a deep interest in the historical and architectural quirks of London.
