In your February issue of LDN - London in Short....

Housing once again dominates, with the publication of the Government’s White Paper, Quintain’s announcement that Wembley Park will be the largest built to rent development in the UK and the start of construction works for Enfield Council’s Meridian Water scheme.

We are also delighted to have two guest contributors this month – Cllr Peter John, Leader of Southwark, and the LSE’s Professor Tony Travers – sharing their insight on London schools and the potential for greater devolution of tax and spending powers.

Meanwhile, air pollution, for all too long on the political back-burner, has moved front and centre as attempts to tackle toxic emissions get underway. In culture and arts, we have also seen support for the Museum of London’s new home and plans for a brand new concert hall, as the capital continues to wear its cultural credentials with pride, backed up with the return of many popular festivals this month.

To all our subscribers, as ever we hope you enjoy this latest issue of LDN and for those new to the magazine, you can subscribe to this and future editions here!
