Sam joined the LCA team in January 2019 having previously spent six years providing strategic communications and engagement support to some of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure schemes across the transport, energy and development sectors.
During his time at LCA, Sam has been working on some of London’s largest planning projects, including the proposed relocation of the House of Lords, Grosvenor Estate’s proposals for a major site in Belgravia and Enfield Council’s estate rationalisation programme.
In addition, Sam has been working with a wide range of clients across the capital, including Cadogan Estates, Landsec, Redrow, Montreaux, Galliard Homes, Romulus, Westminster City Council and Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
Sam has recent experience of working in, and with, many of the London boroughs, from Hammersmith and Fulham, Hounslow, RBKC and Westminster across to Islington, Barnet, Enfield and Waltham Forest.
Sam sits on LCA’s internal team tasked with leading on the agency’s digital and virtual consultation expertise, informing LCA’s recommended client engagement and consultation strategies.
Sam’s previous clients include HS2, Crossrail, Highways England, National Grid, Vattenfall Wind Power and Sainsbury’s. His experience to date has taken Sam to all four corners of the UK, working with clients to deliver best practice consultation and engagement on planning proposals and construction projects.
Sam graduated from Swansea University where he gained a degree in Politics and Social Policy.
Sam is a passionate football enthusiast – both watching his beloved Manchester United and playing in a weekly 5-a-side league in North London. When he's not involving himself in the world of football, Sam can be found roaming the canals and streets of East London with his wife and daughter.
