The Home of Cricket has temporarily become the Home of Archery for the 2012 Olympic Games.

A view of the Lord’s Pavillion, taken from the Media Centre yesterday morning. The Pavillion – a grade II listed building – houses the famous Long Room. Not for nothing is Lord’s known as the ‘home of cricket’.

It appears here at LCA we are obsessed with cricketing outings to Lord’s. In this picture from last Thursday, the floodlights played a key part amidst the grey clouded gloom as Sussex romped home over Middlesex in the T20 competition.
