Our March issue of 'LDN - London in short' is out now

Following the Chancellor’s first and last Spring budget, our March issue of LDN – London in Short considers the impact of various announcements on the capital, particularly progress on the devolution agenda and a potential new way of funding infrastructure

Following the Chancellor’s first and last Spring budget, our March issue of LDN – London in Short considers the impact of various announcements on the capital, particularly progress on the devolution agenda and a potential new way of funding infrastructure investment.

Meanwhile, this month marks the return of MIPIM as the great and good of the property industry descend on Cannes.  Back at home, air quality concerns continue to loom large for us all and we are delighted to feature a guest insight from Momentum Transport Planning, reflecting on efforts being made to grasp this elusive nettle. Elsewhere, the results are in following inspections of every hospital in England and as ever quality care is in the balance against struggling NHS finances.

We also look back at some key planning decisions taken in the last few weeks, by the Mayor and the boroughs, and we look ahead to the upcoming City of London elections. And with the first glimmers of Spring in the air two major cycling events this year will now include London on their circuits – what better excuse is there to get peddling?

As always do let us have any comments and let your colleagues know they can sign up to receive LDN - London in Short here.
